NOTTINGHAM: A final choice on Shikhar Dhawan's availability on the ongoing World Cup might be taken most effective after 10 to 12 days as he is too "precious" to be ruled out just but, India's assistant trainer Sanjay Bangar mentioned on Wednesday.

Dhawan will omit 3 to four games due to the hairline fracture on his left thumb and Rishabh Pant will sign up for the crew as quilt in Manchester forward of the clash towards arch-rivals Pakistan on Sunday.

The assistant trainer's remark implies that Dhawan might be out of the games towards New Zealand (Thursday), Pakistan (Manchester, June 16), Afghanistan (June 22, Southampton) and West Indies (June 27, Manchester).

Bangar additionally informed that Pant is being summoned in order that he can educate with the crew and be match-ready in case Dhawan is ruled out of the event.
