Pune: Air India crew member’s bag stolen

PUNE: An unidentified individual stole an Air India staff member’s bag, containing money, foreign currency echange and valuables, jointly value Rs 30,000, from the premises of a faculty in Kondhwa on Saturday.


The staff member, 29-yearold Mumbai resident Dhiraj Gaware, lodged an FIR with the Kondhwa police.


In his FIR, Gaware mentioned that he used to be hired with Air India Express Limited and had come to the Kondhwa faculty at 3pm to write a web-based recruitment exam for the publish of an Indian Navy tradesman.


Gaware mentioned he had stored the bag out of doors the classroom. After finishing the exam, at around 6pm, Gaware left the classroom and found his bag lacking. He searched the neighborhood and discovered that it used to be stolen. Gaware then approached the police and lodged a criticism.


Sub-inspector Chetan Kale of the Kondhwa police mentioned the CCTV cameras installed on the faculty have captured the photographs of the thief. “We suspect he used to be one of the 200 candidates showing for the exam,” Kale mentioned.
