Naidu questions EC on not counting 50% of VVPATs

VIJAYAWADA: TDP president and leader minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday stated he was once now not angry with the Election Commission (EC).

“My anger is towards (Prime Minister Narendra) Modi. He is using the EC towards opposition parties. This is not just right for democracy. I will expose him on each platform,” stated the CM.


Speaking to media here on Monday, Naidu wondered the EC for now not accepting opposition parties’ demand for counting at least 50% of VVPATs on this election. He stated his demand was once to return to paper poll.

“What is combating the EC from counting the VVPATs, if its declare on EVMs is true,” Naidu asked.

The TDP leader stated his celebration have been elevating doubts over the EVMs and the advent of the VVPATs was once as a result of the struggle. He gave a powerpoint presentation at the EVMs and the way other countries had been using paper poll. He stated he would give this presentation in each state and create consciousness among other folks towards EVMs.

He alleged that Modi was once wearing foreign money notes in his helicopter for distribution within the elections. “Why there is not any check? Why is the PM allowed to travel with out verification,” he asked.


Naidu was once dissatisfied with the EC now not retaining talks with EVM skilled Vemuru Harikrishna Prasad.
