Refusal to loan Rs 50k led to woman’s murder

Mangaluru: The Udupi district police, who investigated the murder of 55-year-old Gulabi Hemmady, have learnt that accused Raviraj,31, killed her as she refused to pay him Rs 50,000, which he had demanded from her.

The accused, a motive force through career, was once staying just about sufferer’s space, and was once arrested two days ago.
