Over 300 sailors pass out from INS Valsura

Rajkot: Trainees of the Direct Entry Electrical Mechanic (Power and Radio) route handed out from INS Valsura on Saturday on a success final touch of their 26 weeks specialisation in electric engineering.

The route comprising of 330 sailors from Indian Navy and 27 Naviks from the Indian Coast Guard, had two inspectors from the Mauritius Police Force and two sailors from Myanmar Navy. The trainees have been educated broadly on subjects related to elementary electric and electronics, with focus on hands-on training.

Rear Admiral Antony George, assistant Chief of Naval Staff at Naval Headquarters, New Delhi reviewed the Passing Out Parade as the chief visitor. The Admiral complimented the trainees and instructed them to stay abreast with the newest technological developments within the fields of electrical, electronics and data technology.
