VADODARA: The 56-year-old assistant sub-inspector who had attempted self-immolation on Friday succumbed to his accidents on Saturday.


Hasmukh Parmar, who was once with Sayajigunj police station, had set himself on hearth at the terrace of his place of abode in Swad quarters in Harni. He was once rushed to a personal medical institution near Waghodiya Road where he was once present process remedy. However, he succumbed on Saturday morning as he had suffered 70% burns.


Police officials mentioned that Parmar had been dealing with psychological issues via getting disenchanted over minor issues and was once additionally underneath psychiatric remedy. He had attempted suicide previously too via overdose of medicines.


On Friday morning, Parmar woke up early within the morning and went about his day by day chores as standard at his place of abode and also went as much as the terrace to do yoga. However, after some time his circle of relatives and neighbours heard loud cries from the terrace and noticed him in flames.
