Chd: 2 smart city projects hit fresh hurdle

CHANDIGARH: The two key projects below the Smart City Mission in Chandigarh, have hit a contemporary hurdle because of lack of bidders.

The projects come with a bi-cycle sharing challenge and putting in place of an animal carcass incineration plant at Dadumajra.

To speed up the pending projects, the UT management had not too long ago formed a five-member technical committee together with chief engineers of Chandigarh management, municipal corporation and Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB).
