COIMBATORE: BJP general secretary Muralidhar Rao didn't rule out an alliance with the AIADMK regardless of AIADMK chief M Thambidurai’s statements that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s schemes in Tamil Nadu were a failure.
When requested if Thambidurai’s statements would scuttle any chances of an alliance between BJP and AIADMK, Rao said the BJP didn't have any downside attractive with any birthday celebration. He additionally said Thambidurai statements was AIADMK’s downside.

While chatting with reporters after an interaction with stakeholders within the textile industry as part of Bharat “Mann ki Bath, Modi ke Saath” programme, Rao was requested to touch upon Thambidurai’s commentary. “I will not touch upon it for the reason that AIADMK birthday celebration leadership has not issued this sort of commentary,” he said. “We ultimately can be speaking and engaging with leadership of the entire events,” he added. “Thambidurai’s statements are an individual’s,” he said.


He said Modi’s connect to other people in Tamil Nadu was growing. “Public reaction and his connect are each growing,” he said.


“We will probably be getting into into alliance with friendly events to support good governance and sure construction. When there may be progress, we can declare our alliance and engagement talks,” he added.
