T'gana: Moviegoers protest after shows cancelled

HYDERABAD: Several youngsters accumulated at Prasads Large Screen at NTR Marg on Friday morning to protest after the picturehall management cancelled the morning shows of all movies within the view of the assembly election.
Angry mob argued with the management, requesting refund double the amount of ticket as they wasted their money and time. "I booked the tickets two days ago. Tomorrow I have work and Sunday mostly go with family. For several days the shows for 2.0 is going houseful, finally, I had got the tickets and they cancelled the shows," stated Vinod Kumar, a personal worker from Malkajgiri.


Vinod and his pals did not vote and got here at once to the multiplex to watch the film when requested, they stated, "We are carrying the voter id card, I had planned to go after the movie."


The mob began gathering at around 8 AM, stated probably the most security guard found in entrance of the box place of business ticket counter looking to manage the mob.


"We have been asked to inform the moviegoers that all the shows before 5 pm have been cancelled, but they started protesting," stated probably the most security guard.


Hours after the protest, the management of Prasads Large Screen refunded the money to people.
