Crop loss: Ambala farmers fume over delay in release of compensation money

AMBALA: The Haryana unit of Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) on Thursday staged a protest at Sakraon village after blockading Hisar highway demanding reimbursement for the lack of their paddy because of hailstorm in October.


The BKU gave an ultimatum to the administration that if their demands are not met through December 15, further accountability of any unsightly incidents shall be of the administration. The farmers have additionally determined to seek advice from the place of job of the deputy commissioner on December 17 on this regard.


City magistrate Sushil Kumar whilst talking to TOI mentioned, “The means of importing the information into the tool continues to be happening and most likely, it will take any other week to complete the procedure.
