Bike-borne men rob Rs 9.9 lakh in Patna

PATNA: Two unidentified bike-borne criminals allegedly looted Rs9.9 lakh from a building company worker at Katra Bazaar beneath the Malsalami police station space in Patna City around 5pm on Friday.
Malsalami SHO Arvind Kumar mentioned Pradeep had withdrawn the amount from the Katra Bazaar branch of State Bank of India and used to be going again to his place of job on a motorcycle when the criminals snatched the bag containing money and sped away.

“Pradeep mentioned one of the most criminals pointed a pistol at him and snatched the bag. He did not resisted,” the SHO mentioned, including Pradeep’s colleague used to be additionally in the back of him on some other bike. He mentioned both the workers had reached the bank together to withdraw the money from the company’s account.

Claiming the loot to be suspicious, the SHO mentioned no person raised an alarm. A police crew used to be additionally near the spot for guarding an ATM kiosk which used to be being replenished when the incident came about, he mentioned.

“Even the police crew did not spot any suspicious movement. Police are scanning the CCTV pictures to get any clue in regards to the crime,” the SHO mentioned.

City SP (East) Rajendra Kumar Bheel and Patna City ASP Balram Kumar Chaudhary rushed to the spot.
