AirAsia India appoints Sunil Bhaskaran as new CEO

NEW DELHI: No-frills airline AirAsia India has appointed Tata workforce veteran Sunil Bhaskaran as chief govt officer and managing director, in line with a free up.


The airline is a joint venture between Tata Sons and Malaysia's AirAsia Berhad.


Bhaskaran's appointment could be effective from November 15, AirAsia India mentioned in a free up Wednesday.


Currently, he's vice chairman of company services and products at Tata Steel and has over three many years of revel in within the fields of manufacturing, export and industrial operations with the Tata workforce.


The airline operates with a fleet of 19 plane.
