Chinese star who vanished amid tax probe may be in jail

A lacking film star has been given a nil% “social responsibility” rating via Chinese authorities, fuelling fears she may have been detained via state officials. Fan Bingbing, who starred in the 2014 Hollywood film X-Men: Days of Future Past, came closing in a rating of 100 celebrities judged on their skilled lives, charitable work and what was described as their personal integrity, in line with the state-run China Daily.

The 2017-18 China Film and Television Star Social Responsibility Report, which was authored via lecturers at Beijing Normal University, was shared broadly via Chinese state media. The 0 rating for Bingbing, China’s best-paid actor, comes four months after a Chinese TV presenter appeared to accuse the star of tax evasion. Although her studio denied any wrongdoing, Chinese web users speculated the 2 had been similar. Bingbing has no longer been since July 1 when she visited a kids’s health facility.



Last week, state-run newsletter Securities Daily reported the actor had been positioned “under control, and can settle for the prison determination” of authorities. It claimed Bingbing’s alleged tax evasion was “simplest the end of the iceberg” The story was got rid of a few hours after newsletter.
