Union minister for street shipping and highways Nitin Gadkari on Saturday mentioned reservation to Marathas or any community isn't the strategy to a problem and job creation is the desire of the hour.

“The answer is generation of employment and extending the in line with capita source of revenue. Even if we give reservation, there are not any jobs. Government has stopped recruitment even in banks as a result of many duties have been taken over by means of knowledge era,” mentioned the minister.

Gadkari used to be talking to reporters after attending a gathering in Aurangabad to review tasks associated with roads and highways. “While considering reservation for a community, a thought must also be given to a selected elegance from each and every community that don't even have meals or garments,” he mentioned.

Meanwhile, in Pune, NCP leader Sharad Pawar on Saturday mentioned the federal government must not disturb the SC, ST and OBC quotas while giving reservation to the Maratha community. “The govt doesn’t wish to take any concrete resolution about the Maratha reservation. It desires to unite other communities’ organizations to isolate the Maratha protesters. By doing so, it'll gain political mileage. But this will likely create unrest within the society. Instead, the federal government must rope in revered people, whom the agitators will concentrate to,” he mentioned.
