Mumbai teen tracks down man who stole her phone

MUMBAI: With some inventive sleuthing, a 19-year-old instructor from Andheri managed to track down the man who had stolen her Android cellular phone. The girl used another handset to track each online task of the thief and were given the Railway Protection Force (RPF) to nab him just as he was once leaving town by means of train. RPF team of workers handed over Selvaraj Shetty (32) to the Dadar GRP outpost the place a case of theft was once registered in opposition to him on Monday.

Then, he downloaded an app for booking railway tickets,” said Haq.


As the battery standing of the stolen telephone might be seen, Haq accumulated from the draining battery that the handset was once being excessively used. The man then booked a Dadar-Tiruvannamalai railway ticket for Sunday and took a screenshot of the PNR number and seat main points. He also took an image of himself.


“Through Google Photos, I accessed his ticket main points in addition to his photo. I left home and headed immediately for Dadar Terminus the place I found RPF team of workers and narrated the whole thing,” said Haq.
