Engine snag: Another IndiGo A-320 Neo grounded

NEW DELHI: Snags in Pratt & Whitney (PW) powering Airbus A-320 Neos show no signal of ending. Yet every other IndiGo new engine option (Neo) A-320 was grounded in Delhi on Monday after reportedly facing the habitual “oil chip factor”. This plane is a new one and the engine is learnt to have accomplished only a few hours earlier than it evolved this snag and now must be replaced.

Confirming this, an IndiGo spokesperson stated: “An IndiGo A-320 Neo has been grounded and is present process a regimen engine change. There isn't any impact on our flight operations.” The airline did not give main points of the flight on which this came about and whether the snag came about when the airplane was going to take off or had landed.

In India, IndiGo and MoveAir use PW-powered A-320 Neos and both the airlines had been plagued with engine snags and groundings.
