Final call on MCG takeover tomorrow

GURUGRAM: The ultimate call on the proposed MCG takeover of 7 authorized colonies in Gurugram will be taken on Saturday, stated civic commissioner Yashpal Yadav, who held a gathering with the builders involved on Thursday.

Yadav, who discussed the revised challenge stories with the builders and requested them to review the DPRs inside two days, stated DTCP director-general KM Pandurang would chair a gathering on the topic on Saturday.


The revised DPRs for the seven colonies have already been authorised by the state urban native bodies (ULB) department. MCG had sent the revised DPRs to Chandigarh for approval on June 28. In these, the takeover price for the builders had come down by 80%, sparking speculations that MCG would now have to shell out the adaptation in price from its price range.


The commissioner stated since all calls for of the builders had been met, the takeover process would achieve momentum now. He additionally stated the company was ready to take price of civic facilities in seven colonies — DLF 1, DLF 2, DLF three, South City 1, South City 2, Sushant Lok 1, Sun City and Palam Vihar.


Ward 34 councillor RS Rathee, who has been pushing the takeover drive, stated, “MCG must start paintings for making improvements to drains, roads, water provide on the earliest.”
