Water, sewerage connections for entire Khanna soon: MLA Gurkirat Singh Kotli

LUDHIANA: The Congress MLA from Khanna, Gurkirat Singh Kotli, has claimed that all of the Khanna city will get water and sewerage connections soon.

He stated a 98km sewer line and a 105km water provide line were being laid in the city. Kotli stated the initiatives were going to cost Rs 124.03 crore, however would change the face of town. “Khanna was once in dire want of such initiatives. Since the Congress promised to offer every civic amenity to the folks, these two initiatives shall be finished at any value,” he stated.


Kotli claimed that the Congress-ruled state govt had made construction its “primary time table”. “Our leaders, be it leader minister Capt Amarinder Singh or any minister, MLA or councillor, everybody is operating day and night time to resolve problems confronted through people,” he stated. “And people from all walks of life — kids, senior electorate and pensioners — are appreciating the change brought in the state through our govt.”


Kotli added nine tube wells value Rs 2.28 crore would be equipped in the city and any other Rs three.77 crore would be spent on building of five water tanks in Khanna.
