BJP celebrates swearing in of BSY

MANGALURU: While BJP staff celebrated within the town after B S Yeddyurappa was sworn in as chief minister, the Congress staged a protest close to the Mahatma Gandhi statue close to Town Hall within the town on Thursday.
The BJP celebrated victory in entrance of its district committee office. Mangaluru City police ensured that protection was given to each birthday party workplaces, when birthday party cadres took to the streets. While the BJP celebrated the swearing in of B S Yedyurappa as the new chief minister of Karnataka, the Congress members protested towards the Governor’s transfer of inviting the BJP to shape the government. Congress leaders called the transfer a “homicide of democracy,” and expressed their anguish at now not being allowed to shape a coalition govt with the JD(S).

In the morning, masses of BJP leaders and birthday party staff accrued in entrance in their office and celebrated the swearing in of Yeddyurappa through bursting crackers and distributing chocolates. The BJP leaders made certain that they cleaned up when they were finished. BJP Dakshina Kannada district campaign committee in-charge Monappa Bhandary and different birthday party leaders took brooms to clean the street, the place crackers were burst.


“In five years, the Congress has given the worst-possible efficiency through a central authority, and has been fascinated with maladministration. Though the Congress has been crying foul through branding us communal, they have got proved their communal time table up to now five years,” Bhandary alleged.


Meanwhile, Congress leaders and birthday party staff staged a protest condemning the governor’s transfer to permit B S Yedyurappa to take oath as chief minister. Addressing the protesters, former MLA J R Lobo stated such an invitation is a “homicide of democracy.”


“The BJP is acting in step with its personal whims and fancies, through neglecting rules and regulations. When the Congress and JD(S) approached the governor with the magic quantity, he didn't invite them to shape the government, however invited the BJP instead. It looks like there is no price left for democracy. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is acting like a dictator. With this building, we ponder whether democracy will continue to exist in this nation or now not. People need to decide about it,” he added.
