Yogi vows 25 fast-track courts for SC/ST cases

LUCKNOW: Close on the heels of Dalit protests within the country towards the diluting the SC/ ST Act through the Supreme Court, UP CM Yogi Adityanath on Saturday promised 25 new fast-track courts in state for quick disposal of circumstances beneath the SC/ST Act.


The CM made the announcement during a serve as held through the Dalit Mahasabha to have a good time BR Ambedkar’s beginning anniversary. The announcement came a day after some mahasabha members writing to the CM, accusing him of ignoring the Centre’s directions on setting up of special courts to hear circumstances of Dalit atrocities. These members, who had objected to the CM being given the Dalit Mitra award during Saturday’s serve as, have been arrested while they have been protesting outside the venue.


Dalit Mitra Award to Yogi, PM next: The Dalit Mahasabha, which conferred the “Dalit Mitra Award” to Yogi Adityanath, will bestow a identical identify on the PM.
