Passengers recount horror as engine-less train rolls on track

Some passengers wanted to jump from the coach however I denied them and informed them to hope god.”

Another passenger, Hrushikesh Mangraj, who used to be going to Sambalpur, mentioned, “The coaches stopped for a couple of seconds on the bridge. At that second I feared that the coaches don’t fall into the river.”

Jasobanta Majhi mentioned he came to understand from the within sight passenger that coaches had been running without engine. "I went to the gate and saw both end had no engine. I feared and thought to jump from the train as it was running slowly. Another man told me not to panic" he mentioned.
