Man jailed for flouting excise norms during family wedding

MANGALURU: The excise division on Saturday arrested a person, who has stocked liquor at his area for a circle of relatives fuction, for violating norms.

Accused Steevan Monteiro, a resident of Ira, 30kms away from Mangaluru, had stocked a number of litres of beer, whisky and other low alcohol beverage to serve at his niece's engagement and following purposes (Roce and wedding ceremony).
