Udhagamandalam: In a bid to keep Ooty the city clean, the district management has decided to impose a high-quality of Rs 1,000 for littering in public places from May 1.
“We have invited volunteers for policing littering in the the city right through the summer time. Named ‘Green Brigade’, they'll be given id playing cards and authorized by means of the management to gather the high-quality by means of issuing receipts,” collector J Innocent Divya said.
