MANGALURU: The election commission will arrange 20 red polling stations with all girls team of workers in Dakshina Kannada district right through the assembly election.
District electoral officer and deputy commissioner S Sasikanth Senthil stated five polling stations each in Mangaluru City South, Mangaluru City North and Mangaluru constituencies might be declared as red cubicles.

Belthangady, Moodbidri, Bantwal, Puttur and Sullia, too, will get one red polling station each. St Victoria Girls High School, Lady Hill, DKZP Higher Primary Schools in Bejai, Gandhinagar, St Aloysius Higher Primary School, Urwa and Government Girls PU College, Balmatta of Mangaluru South constituency would be the red polling stations within the town.

The DC stated the election commission will also arrange five ethnic polling stations within the district. Ethnic polling stations might be set up to advertise the regional way of life and ethnicity.
