Delhi juveniles held for looting Ludhiana based trader of Rs 9 lakh

Ludhiana: Four days after a bike borne two miscreants tricked a hosiery trader and looted Rs nine Lakh in money and a bag of laptop, the town police have apprehended two juveniles- aged 15years and 17 years from New Delhi. The police have additionally recovered the money and motorbike used by the accused in crime, from their possession.
According to police the juveniles had come to town on their motorbike, focused hosiery trader randomly, and escaped with money on their bike. The police controlled to trace them throughout the bike registration quantity.

On April 11 hosiery trader Shiv Kumar Bansal of Barewal street was going to his factory form house with a bag of money. While the driver was riding automobile the trader was sitting on the again seat with money when they have been tricked by way of accused.

60-year-old Bansal, owns a hosiery factory on in Phase-IV of Focal Point area. Following the day-to-day regimen, he left the house in morning. His motive force Kuljinder Singh was riding the automobile whilst he was sitting in the back of with the bag of money and laptop. As soon as they reached on RK Road, near Cheema Chowk round 11 AM, bike borne two miscreants struck there. They waved the driver to forestall and advised that gas is leaking from engine.

The motive force stopped and started checking the automobile. The trader followed him and alighted from the automobile to check the car. Meanwhile the miscreants picked the bag of money and laptop and escaped.

A couple of hours later the police found the bag with laptop and Rs 3 Lakh in money from Sherpur area. The incident was captured in a CCTV wherein bike rider was dressed in a helmet whilst the face of pillion rider was found exposed. The CCTV additionally captured the bike registration numbers which helped police in tracing accused.

The Commissioner of Police, Sukhchain Singh Gill stated, "The CCTVs installed in area helped police in tracing accused. Once police got the registration number of bike used in crime, the police conducted a raid and apprehended accused form New Delhi."

Gill added, "The accused have confessed that they came to city with their neighbours who had a hearing in local court. Bansal was their random target. The police further are tracking their criminal history."
