Cops blame failed love affair for Barmer triple ‘suicide’

JAISALMER: Four days after the our bodies of 3 teenagers — two girls and a boy — had been found striking from a tree in a village in Rajasthan’s Barmer district, native police on Monday ruled out rape and murder as alleged by means of the ladies’ families.

Senior police officials mentioned postmortem reports and circumstantial evidences advised it used to be a case of suicides over a “failed love affair”.

The girls, who had been cousins and belonged to the Meghwal community, had been in a dating with the boy from a Sindhi-Muslim circle of relatives in their village, police mentioned. The trigger level for taking the extreme step used to be that the families of the boy and the elder lady had recently fixed their marriages with other individuals, police added.

The two girls, aged around 13 years and 12 years, and the boy (Deshal Khan), aged about 17 years, had been found striking from a tree at a village beneath Binjrad police station of Barmer’s Chohatan tehsil on April 13 morning. Father of one of the vital girls lodged a police grievance the same day, accusing the deceased boy and one of his minor pals of rape and murder. Deputy SP (Chohatan circle) Surendra Kumar Choudhary informed TOI on Monday, “The postmortem reports say that every one 3 died of striking and there were no injury marks on their our bodies. The girls had been neither raped nor had been they pregnant,” he mentioned including that the 3 had been in a ‘love dating’ for over two years.
