A musical treat for Noida audience at this three-day long festival

In a three-day lengthy mega competition, held from April 13-15, concurrently in Delhi (Kamani Auditorium), Noida (Shiv Nadar School) and Gurgaon (Shiv Nadar School), the artists won an amazing response from the audience. During the course of those three days, over 5,000 aficionados of classical song witnessed an ensemble representing a wide range of song genres, together with fusion, semi-classical and pure classical song Jugalbandis. Some of the best classical musicians like Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, Shri Vikku Vinayakram, Ustad Rashid Khan and Rahul Sharma, among others carried out throughout the competition.

On the overall day of the competition, in Noida, Ustad Rashid Khan started the night with a spellbinding efficiency, which used to be followed through a wide ranging Carnatic percussion act through Grammy winner Shri Vikku Vinayakram and his son and common percussionist Selvaganesh.


In Gurgaon, sons of Pandit Rajan Mishra, Ritesh and Rajnish Mishra delivered a relaxing vocal jugalbandi followed through Pandit Hariprasad and Rakesh Chaurasia enthralling the audience with a flute jugalbandi. In Delhi, Santoor maestro Rahul Sharma, along with his fusion ensemble, enthralled a packed Kamani Auditorium.
