No HC relief for Mehul Choksi

Ahmedabad: Gujarat top court on Wednesday refused to grant any reduction to the Punjab National Bank (PNB) rip-off accused, Mehul Choksi, in reference to duping charges in a coupon fund scheme.

Justice A J Desai refused to stick investigation against Choksi which is being conducted by means of the town crime department on an FIR lodged by means of a Bhavnagar-based doctor, Meeta Mankad. This happened after the state govt submitted sooner than the court that many sufferers of the chit fund scheme have come ahead to the investigators and have given their statements.

Meanwhile, recommend Vishal Anandjiwala, who seems for co-accused Digvijaysinh Jadeja, continued to demand for becoming a member of his client in the case as a birthday celebration.
