Misleading ads can land realtors in trouble: Rera boss

GURUGRAM: Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (HRera) on Tuesday introduced that there should not be any difference within the amenities and amenities shown indevelopers’ commercials and what they deliver on ground. Misleading commercials of actual property tasks may land the developer concerned in trouble.

Homebuyers were complaining about differences between what they had been promised in realtors’ commercials and what used to be delivered. Realtors were giving fancy commercials to entice buyers, but are discovered to be delivering what used to be not promised. “Developers who give false knowledge and deceptive commercials to entice buyers will face motion,” stated chairman of HRera (Gurugram) Ok Ok Khandelwal, whilst he used to be talking at a workshop organised via the authority and labour department on Tuesday.

Khandelwal stated the authority has already issued notices to Three-Four builders. “Unlike previously, now the developer can not accept pre-booking,” stated Khandelwal, including that the objective is to ensure that builders should give correct knowledge so buyers can take an educated choice without getting erroneous. He stated commercials about the project can also be given only after registration of project with HRera.
