Depression over southeast Arabian Sea; TN, Kerala to receive heavy rains

NEW DELHI: The melancholy over southeast Arabian Sea moved northwestwards with speeds of about 14kmph during the past six hours and it lay focused at 8.30pm on Wednesday over southeast Arabian Sea close to latitude 7.50 N and longitude 74.00 E, about 130km southeast of Minicoy, 340km west- southwest of Thiruvanathapuram and 380km north-northeast of Male (Maldives).
The melancholy is likely to transfer northwestwards and handle the depth of melancholy during next 24 hours. There is low chance for additional intensification of the gadget into deep melancholy.

It is likely to weaken step by step over southeast and adjoining east-central Arabian Sea after 24 hours.

The Met division has warned of rain and thundershower at many puts during the next two days specifically over south Tamil Nadu. This will probably be accompanied by heavy rainfall in some isolated puts in Kerala. Rainfall at maximum puts with heavy falls at a couple of puts on 14th and at isolated puts on March 15 could be very most probably over Lakshadweep Islands.

The Met division also warned of squally winds which could succeed in speeds of as much as 40-50kmph gusting to 60kmph most probably over Comorin house and along and rancid south Tamil Nadu coast during the next 24 hours and 45-55kmph gusting to 65kmph along and rancid the Kerala coast on Wednesday and 40-50kmph gusting to 60kmph on Thursday.


Squally winds with speeds attaining 45-55kmph gusting to 65kmph, is most probably over Lakshadweep house and the adjoining southeast Arabian Sea on both the times.


The sea will probably be tough to very tough over Comorin-Maldives house and adjoining sea spaces during next 24 hours and over Lakshadweep house and adjoining southeast Arabian Sea off Kerala coast during Wednesday and Thursday.
