VHP's 'Ram Rajya Yatra' crosses Allahabad

ALLAHABAD: The "Ram Rajya Rath Yatra", which commenced from Ayodhya and heading to Rameswaram, arrived at the Sangam town, on Thursday. Organised by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), the yatra would cover six states over the following 41 days.
The rally comes days before the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid name go well with is anticipated to come up before the Supreme Court for the final hearing.

On its approach ahead from Varanasi, the yatra passed through blocks like Handia, Saidabad and so forth wherein the enthusiastic employees of the VHP and BJP together with quite a lot of different hindu organisations welcomed the yarta.


While getting into the city, the yatra was welcomed at Nayay Nagar Jhunsi. VHP volunteer Amarnath informed that the primary rath, which is a reproduction of the RSS-affiliate VHP's proposed Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, was garlanded amidst shouting of slogan like Jai Shree Ram. The volunteers also performed aarti of the deity and also of the volunteers who are accompanying the rath on its approach upto Rameshwaram where the yatra is scheduled to succeed in on March 25.


The yatra was also welcomed at quite a lot of places of the city as the primary serve as was held at Manmohan crossing of Katra. From there the yatra was welcomed on its path to Kaushambi.


The yatra was welcomed at Chaufatka and Mundera locality of the city. The yatra would be taking its night time halt at Mahdev visitor area at Puramuffti of Kushambi district.


The yatra is being officially organised by a Maharashtra-based social organisation, and it'll see participation from organisations like the VHP and the Muslim Rashtriya Manch, that are affiliated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh - the BJP's ideological mentor.
