Mumbai Indians to take on CSK in IPL 2018 opener

NEW DELHI: Defending champions Mumbai Indians will tackle two-time winners Chennai Super Kings in what promises to be a marquee opening game of the Indian Premier League 2018 to be performed on the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday, April 7.

The 11th edition of the cash-rich T20 match will probably be performed at 9 venues across 51 days.

Fans in Chennai and Jaipur will get their percentage of the IPL frenzy as MA Chidambaram Stadium and the Sawai Mansingh Stadium will host home suits of Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals respectively.


Kings XI Punjab will play their 3 home suits in Indore and 4 suits at home in Mohali.


The upcoming edition will characteristic 12 suits that will probably be performed at four:00 PM (IST) and 48 suits will start at eight:00 PM (IST).


The final between the winner of Qualifier 1 and the winner of Qualifier 2 will probably be performed at Wankhede Stadium on Sunday, May 27.
