Dharwad: Dispute over land dispute led to try to homicide recommend Bhimappa Doddamani in Dharwad on February five, police investigation has revealed.

Based on his Harijan’s confession, police have now arrested Mulla and Sheikh. The two were produced before a court which remanded them in judicial custody. Police have launched a manhunt to nab Mangalagatti who is at massive.

Mulla used to stay a track of Doddamani’s movement and inform Harijan and Sheikh. Harijan and Sheikh made an strive at the life of Doddamani in wide sunlight near the recommend’s workplace at Station Road. Doddamani sustained injuries and was once admitted to the clinic.

Police said Mangalagatti and Doddamani had common clashes with each and every other over a 50-acre land belonging to one Shobha in Dori village. Doddamani’s son Tejas had contested the taluk panchayat election as a JD(S) candidate. Mangalagatti contested towards Tejas as an Independent candidate. Though each misplaced the election, the rivalry between Mangalagatti and Doddamani irritated.

Mangalagatti allegedly determined to get rid of Doddamani and asked Mulla to do the needful, police said. Since Doddamani is a Dalit, police had taken up underneath the The SC and The ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. They shaped groups, which integrated officers from Vidyagiri, Town and Suburban Police stations, to research the case.
