High Court rejects bail plea of Pushpa Sales's director

ALLAHABAD: The Allahabad high courtroom on Tuesday dismissed the bail application of Manish Bhandari, the director of an organization which was once supplying oxygen to BRD Medical College, Gorakhpur.

It is claimed that simply prior to 30 children died in two days on the health facility in August, Bhandari's company Pushpa Sales had snapped oxygen supply to its paediatrics ward because of mounting dues.


Bhandari was once one of the accused, including the then predominant of the varsity, who had been held accountable for the snapping of oxygen supply. Counsel for the state govt hostile the petition on the ground that investigation is pending and Bhandari is also required for investigation and will not be released on bail.
