Four minor boys escape from government juvenile home in Kanpur

KANPUR: Four minor boys managed to escape from the federal government juvenile home in Naubasta area of the city on Thursday.
The district management has suspended four homeguards for dereliction of accountability. The juveniles broke open the window and escaped by way of tying bedsheets together after which scaling down the partitions of the multi-storey development, the police said.


"Of the total 47 inmates, four, who were lodged at the second -storey, broke open an iron grill from a window and escaped by tying bedsheets together and then scaling down the walls of the building," police said.


The juveniles had escaped past due on Wednesday night time, however the incident was found out best all over Thursday morning breakfast attendance.


"The officials of the juvenile home noticed that the four boys were missing at the time of breakfast when the inmates have assembled in the hall on Thursday morning," said the police.


Police puzzled the other minors to determine the rationale in the back of their escaping from the juvenile home. "Police teams have been formed and dispatched to possible spots to trace the absconding inmates," said SSP Akhilesh Kumar and added four homeguards had been suspended for dereliction of accountability.
