BJP for more ‘sampark’ with first-time, women voters

ALLAHABAD: In the run-up to the forthcoming Phulpur bypolls, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders are depending on 'sampark tolis' to woo first-time citizens and women to make sure a win for the saffron birthday celebration from the Lok Sabha seat, which was formerly represented by means of deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya.

Party Mahanagar vice-president Ashish Gupta stated, "Apart from forming over 2,000 booth committees in all five assembly segments of Phulpur, we have also focused on forming 'sampark tolis' to get more voters into BJP's fold. Each toli comprises two or three workers and would be interacting with voters over schemes like Ujjala and Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao schemes."

The women's wing of birthday celebration is trying to garner support of women citizens and feature been busy spreading consciousness about the social security and women welfare schemes introduced by means of the Union and state executive.

The birthday celebration has constituted over 100 energetic groups or tolis, who can be campaigning door-to-door in all 5 assembly segments of Phulpur parliamentary constituency, which might be Phulpur, Allahabad North, Allahbaad West, Soraon and Phaphamau.

The birthday celebration is also making efforts to woo first- time citizens in both city and rural wallet of the parliamentary constituency.
